What is CONFERENCE DESIGN?

Liminal By Design Founder Chad Foulkes has presented at multiple international and national conferences on systems, complexity, deliberative democracy, governance, public health, obesity and community development.

He has experience as a keynote speaker, MC, leading plenary sessions and in designing conferences for impact. His skills go beyond presentation into ensuring your conference offers delegates value for money, attracts expert speakers and is a must-do professional networking, information and education event. He has designed and worked as an MC for a range of conferences in a variety of fields.

Chad has delivered participatory unconference and standard conference formats for public servants, community groups, academics and private enterprise, in groups of 20 to 450.

Most recently, he chaired the only plenary panel session at the 200+ delegate Engage to Act unconference in St Kilda. He also designed and was co-MC of Beyond the Vote, a conference that brought together public servants, academics and consultants to share triumphs and challenges, exchange perspectives and insights, and explore better ways to do democracy. This was part of South Australia’s Open State Festival.
